Mary Dearden, whose original idea it was three years ago, has once again, produced a marvellous event for us to have a taste of the Caribbean. Our delightful garden came into its own,as the beating sun shone down and the glorious sounds of Janami and his steel-pan once again filled the air. Ryan mixed colourful Caribbean cocktails, members dressed themselves with fun shirts and garlands and pretty sun dresses and a marvellous atmosphere lit the whole evening. Later, there was a delicious West Indian dinner served. In the dining room and the whole evening ended with a fabulous dancing in the coffee room. It was as usual, the high spot of the Summmer events and thank you Mary for organising it all.
