The New Club is proud to have its own Resident Chef de Cuisine, allowing us to offer a unique programme of weekly themed dinners and exceptional in-house dining. With a passion for seasonal ingredients and refined flavours, our chef brings creativity, skill, and tradition to every plate. Carl Stevenson

Carl enjoys the challenge of providing exquisite dishes from many cuisines for club members, not only at its weekly dinners but at excellent light lunches, superb afternoon teas (Carl started off his culinary life as a patisserie chef), and private lunches and dinners of the highest quality. The exceptional quality of his cooking is often remarked upon by members of reciprocal clubs and outside guests as well as club members.

Carl has been the chef de cuisine at the New Club for over 20 years, following years working in great hotels such as Gleneagles and winning many accolades and awards along the way, starting with being named as Student Chef of the Year. He leads a fantastic team at the New Club, and his brilliant work underpins many of our popular and successful events.
