Dear Marilyn,
This is just a brief note to say that I enjoyed our little chat after the meal on Wednesday and to let you know how much I appreciate all you do to make the Club such an active, friendly organisation to belong to.
The fact that I feel a warm glow of contentment at the end of each of my visits is due to the welcoming friendliness of the ambience you have managed to create and foster among members, supported so engagingly by Jane.
I am very glad indeed glad to have taken the decision to join the New Club and hope that I will be able find some way to support you in the invaluable role you play.
